Westminster's Abby Rockers received a number of soccer honors from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recently.
On Saturday, Rockers (Helias High School) was named the Co-Defensive Player of the Year for the league and was also a first-team all-conference selection.
Rockers, a freshman center back, was part of a Westminster defense that allowed just seven goals during conference play. The Blue Jays finished the year with five shutouts, and opponents managed just 97 shots on goal this year.
In addition, Rockers earned SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 5.
