A Jefferson City pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car at 4:30 p.m. Monday at 4405 Rainbow Circle.
According to the Highway Patrol report a 2004 Dodge Ram, drive eastbound by Norman M. Graham, 38, Lohman, struck a pedestrian, Shirley A. Kempker, Jefferson City, when Kempker walked in front of his vehicle.
Kempker was taken to St. Mary's Health Center and then transferred to University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital.
