College Volleyball: Miners win fourth straight

The Missouri S&T volleyball team won its fourth straight match Sunday, claiming a win against Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill.

The Miners won the match by a 25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 25-21 score.

Krista Haslag (Helias High School) racked up a match-high six blocks and also had nine kills, one assist and one dig in the victory.

S&T improved to 16-11 overall and 11-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with the win.

On Saturday, S&T topped Wisconsin-Parkside 19-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-15, 15-9 in Somers, Wis.

Haslag tied for the team lead with 13 kills and also had five blocks and one assist.

On Wednesday in Springfield, the Miners downed Drury 22-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Haslag had a match-high nine blocks and added 11 kills and five digs.
