SANDY, Utah (AP) - Real Salt Lake stretched its unbeaten streak to 12 games with a 0-0 draw with FC Dallas on Saturday night, matching Major League Soccer's record undefeated streak to start the season with a 6-0-6 mark.

The Los Angeles Galaxy opened the inaugural season with a 12-0 record (including two shootout victories) in 1996, before the league had draws. The Galaxy opened the 2010 season with a 10-0-2 record.

FC Dallas (5-6-3) is winless in seven straight games.

Salt Lake continues to be without goalkeeper Nick Rimando and midfielder Kyle Beckerman, who were both selected to the U.S. national team roster for the World Cup this summer.

TIMBERS 2, RED BULLS 1

HARRISON, N.J. (AP) - Maximiliano Urruti scored in each half to rally Portland past New York, extending the Timbers' unbeaten streak to five.

Urruti tied it just before halftime and added the winner in the 74th to help Portland improve to 2-3-7 and move out of last place in Major League Soccer's Western Conference.

The Red Bulls (3-5-5) have lost three straight and two in a row at home.

The win was the first for Portland in five meetings between the clubs. The Timbers' only other victory this season came May 3 at home, 3-2 over D.C. United.

After Bradley Wright-Phillips put New York ahead in the 36th, Urruti scored his fourth and fifth goals to lead Portland.

CREW 2, FIRE 0

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ethan Finlay and Jairo Arrieta scored in the first half and Columbus beat Chicago to end an eight-game winless streak.

Finlay, making his first start of the season and seventh in his three-year career, scored in the 10th minute, and Arrieta followed 15 minutes later with his third goal of the season. After failing to score in his first 40 MLS games, Finlay has scored in two straight.

Federico Higuain assisted on both goals, and Steve Clark made four saves for his second shutout of the season. The Crew (4-4-4) were 0-4-4 since beating Seattle on March 29.

Chicago dropped to 2-3-6.

REVOLUTION 2, D.C. UNITED 1

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Patrick Mullins and Diego Fagundez scored and New England extended its unbeaten streak to seven with a victory over D.C. United.

New England (7-3-2) is unbeaten in seven matches (6-0-1), having outscored its foes 19-6 during that span.

Fabian Espindola scored for D.C. United (5-4-3).

RAPIDS 4, IMPACT 1

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Dillon Powers scored on a penalty kick in the fifth minute and added a second- half goal in Colorado's victory over Montreal.

Kamani Hill and Shane O'Neill also scored in the second half to help Colorado (5-4-3) snap a two-game losing streak. Colorado has won all three meetings between the teams.

Andres Romero scored in the 88th minute for Montreal (1-6-4).

SOUNDERS 2, WHITECAPS 2, TIE

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Gonzalo Pineda scored on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute for Seattle in the Sounders' tie with Vancouver.

Seattle (8-3-2) was awarded the kick after defender Jay DeMerit fouled Cam Weaver in the penalty area.

Vancouver (4-2-5) took a 2-1 lead in the 66th minute when midfielder Gershon Koffie scored his first goal of the season on an error by goalkeeper Stefan Frei. In an effort to keep the ball in play, Frei ventured way out of his net and booted a clearing attempt up the middle instead of safely up the sideline. Koffie pounced on the ball and scored into the vacated goal.

Seattle's Chad Barrett opened the scoring in the 36th minute, and Erik Hurtado tied it in the 39th.
