FORDHAM, N.Y. - The second-seeded Saint Louis Billikens opened the Atlantic 10 Softball Tournament with a 6-5 win Thursday against third-seeded Saint Joseph's.
Hailey Weavers (Helias High School) drove in the game-winning run for the Billikens, as her fifth-inning RBI single broke a tie at 5.
The Billikens (29-19) will play top-seeded Fordham at 11 a.m. today in their second game of the double-elimination event.
