Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected across central Missouri this evening through Friday evening as a cold front pushes through the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Some of the storms could be strong to severe with large hail and strong damaging winds being the primary threats, and some areas will see heavy downpours as well.
After a break on Saturday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms is forecast to resume from Saturday night through Monday.
