Prep Baseball: Calvary 7, KC Lutheran 5

Wyatt Archer totaled three hits and scored a pair of runs Saturday to lead the Calvary Lutheran Lions to a 7-5 victory against Kansas City Lutheran.

Trevor Dusheke had two hits and scored two runs for the winners, while Caleb Propst also scored twice.

Hance Sommerer was the winner in relief, working 12/3 innings. He allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits while striking out three. Beau Monson got the save, striking out two in the seventh. Archer was the starter. He worked 41/3 innings, allowing three earned runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out three.

Calvary (11-4), which won the JV game 4-1, will play Tuesday at Versailles.
