LINN - Hunter Hennier had a three-run home run to help the Fatima Comets snag a 10-9 win against the Linn Wildcats on Friday.
Jared Schulte added three hits and two RBI for the winners, while Logan Vogel had two hits and one RBI.
Reid Kesel started and got the win for the Comets, pitching 4 2/3 innings. He gave up three runs (two earned) on nine hits while striking out five. Will Robertson then worked an inning, giving up four runs (two earned) on three hits with one strikeout. Tony Swarthout then came on to get the save, allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit while striking out two.
Ryan Mantle had three hits, including a home run, and three RBI for Linn. Tony Mebruer had two hits and two RBI, Ben Klebba added three hits and one RBI, Eathan Hickey had one hit and one RBI, and Dalton Neiderhelm added a single and a home run.
Fatima (13-7) will travel to Harrisburg today, while Linn (14-3) will host Tuscumbia on Monday.
