Helias wins quadrangular

MOBERLY - The Helias Crusaders notched a quadrangular win Monday, besting the host school, Boonville and South Shelby.

The Crusaders turned in a team total of 167 at Elk Ridge Golf Course, topping the host Spartans by seven strokes. Boonville was third at 182 and South Shelby was fourth at 236.

Clay Carroll led Helias, carding a 39. Andrew Schaumberg and Carson Mueller posted 42s, while Matt Branch was next at 44.

Helias also won the JV match, as the Crusaders had a 181 to Moberly's 220. Curtis Campbell had a 40 for Helias, Dalton Roark and Brant Bacolod had 46s and Caleb Albertson added a 49.

Helias will play today in the Union Invitational.
