Helias freshmen sweep Camdenton

Helias swept a doubleheader from Camdenton on Wednesday, holding on to a 4-3 victory in Game 1 before cruising to a 14-1 win in the nightcap.

Jacob Bahr and Tyler Cassmeyer combined to throw a no-hitter and Dylan Gaines had two hits and drove in three runs to lead the Crusaders past the Lakers in Game 2.

Drew Boessen struck out eight in four innings to earn the win for Helias in the opener.

Helias (2-0) will play at Blair Oaks on Tuesday.
