COLUMBIA - Zach Rockers of Columbia College has been named to the Daktronics-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team.
Rockers (Helias High School), who had his season cut short to just two games because of an injury, averaged 11 points and 5.5 rebounds and was named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 4. The junior has earned AMC Academic All-Conference three times.
To make the team, a player must have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
