3 facing drug charges in Osage County

Osage County deputies arrested a Freeburg man and two Rolla woman early Saturday on drug charges. As of Saturday night, they were awaiting formal charges in the Osage County Jail.

Barry Welschmeyer, 47, Freeburg and Jennifer Lane and Desiree Yarnall, both 26 of Rolla, were arrested when deputies executed an arrest warrant at 236 Osage County Road 634 near Freeburg. Deputies found suspected methamphetamine, meth paraphernalia and numerous firearms.

All three are convicted felons and are on Probation and or Parole for previous drug and or weapons charges.

Welschmeyer had a no-bond felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a firearm. In addition, she was arrested for new charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Lane and Yarnell were also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
