Sheriff reports weapons and drugs seized at Russellville home

Cole County Chief Deputy John Wheeler said late this morning officials seized nearly 1.5 pounds of crystal meth, weapons and cash during a Thursday night search of a home in Russellville.

One man was being held in the Cole County Jail today for drug trafficking.

He was not identified, pending the filing of charges.

Wheeler said in a news release that the Cole County Sheriff's department served the warrant about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, at 13006 Minnie Drive, Russellville.

The search was made as part of an ongoing MUSTANG and ATF investigation.

Wheeler said items seized included 632 grams of crystal meth, with a street value estimated at $82,000; numerous weapons; more than $15,000 cash; two trucks; and a stolen vehicle.
