Saturday is the last day residents in Jefferson City will be allowed to burn yard waste.
Burning will be allowed until dark.
Residents should use caution when burning as gusting winds and low humidity fires can get out of hand very quickly.
Burn season will start again under the new dates that were passed at the last city council meeting.
Burning of yard waste will start on Nov. 1 and end on March 1, 2015.
