FULTON - Westminster College had 32 student-athletes named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic team.
Area athletes who earned the honor for the Blue Jays were Ryan Loethen (St. Elizabeth High School), Deion Hughes (Helias High School), Danton Hughes (Helias High School), Sarah Koestner (Russellville High School) and Zachary Backes (Linn High School).
In order to earn All-Academic Team honors, a student-athlete must hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and have been enrolled in at least one full year at their current institution.
