MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Lindsay Whalen scored 22 points to lead the Minnesota Lynx to a 91-84 victory over the San Antonio Stars on Thursday night.

Maya Moore added 21 points and six rebounds for the defending WNBA champion Lynx, who have won four of their last five to improve to 13-5. Rookie Kayla McBride led the Stars (9-9) with 17 points.

The Lynx overcame a 35-30 deficit with a 20-1 run that spanned halftime, holding San Antonio scoreless for the final 4 minutes of the first half. Tan White beat the halftime buzzer with a long 3-pointer that put Minnesota on top 41-35.

Monica Wright, filling in for the injured Seimone Augustus, hit three 3-pointers in the first half en route to a season-high 17 points for the Lynx, who are 3-0 against the Stars this season.

SPARKS 70, STORM 56

SEATTLE (AP) - Nneka Ogwumike scored 21 points for her fifth straight game in the 20s to help Los Angeles beat Seattle.

Ogwumike was 10 of 16 from the field. Candace Parker added 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Los Angeles (7-9) shot 68 percent in the second and third quarters.

Crystal Langhorne led the Storm (7-12) with 19 points and had eight rebounds. The Storm played without scoring leader Camille Little because of her grandfather's death.

SHOCK 96, SUN 83

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Rookie Odyssey Sims scored 30 points to lead Tulsa past Connecticut.

Skylar Diggins had 20 points and Courtney Paris added 12 points and 15 rebounds for Tulsa (7-10).

Rookie Alyssa Thomas had 24 points, and Katie Douglas scored 21 for the Sun (8-10).
