PELLA, Iowa - Beth Keene won a pair of events to highlight Truman State University's efforts at Saturday's Central College Indoor Track and Field Classic.
Keene (Southern Boone High School) took first in both the long jump (15-5) and triple jump (35-8).
Also for Truman, Matthew Schaefer (Helias High School) took first in the 1,000-meter run in a personal-best time of 2:32.29 and Matthew LaPointe (Jefferson City High School) was secdon in the pole vault (14-5 1/4).
Schaefer was also part of the Truman 4x800-meter relay team that came in fifth (3:33.43).
