STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Chiney Ogwumike had 21 points and 15 rebounds, helping No. 4 Stanford hold off UCLA's upset bid in a 72-55 win Friday night.
Lili Thompson added 15 points for the Cardinal (18-1, 7-0 in the Pac-12), who won their 17th straight since losing at top-ranked Connecticut in November. Erica McCall added 11 points and Sara James had 10.
Atonye Nyingifa scored 18 points to lead the Bruins (10-10, 4-4 Pac-12), who had won three of their previous four games. Nirra Fields scored 13 points.
The game was tied at 39 early in the second half when James hit consecutive 3-pointers to start a Cardinal run that eventually led to a 66-51 advantage heading into the final five minutes.
UCLA harassed Stanford into 16 turnovers and stayed within striking distance much of the game. The Bruins, who dressed eight healthy players for the contest, finally seemed to run out of steam.

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Ariya Crook had a career-high 34 points to help Southern California beat California.
Southern California (14-6, 7-1 Pac-12) took the lead for good at 68-66 on Cassie Harberts' jumper with 3:58 to play. The Trojans held the Golden Bears 13-5, 5-2) scoreless for the next 3½ minutes, while Crook hit a jumper and two free throws to extend the lead to 72-66 with 25 seconds left.
Cassie Harberts added 15 points and 10 rebounds for USC.
Brittany Boyd had 17 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists for Cal (13-5, 5-2).
NO. 14 ARIZONA ST. 65, UTAH 62
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Katie Hempen and Sophie Brunner each made a pair of free throws in the final 10 seconds to lift Arizona State past Utah.
Brunner made her free throws with 8.6 seconds left to give Arizona State a 63-62 lead. Utah's Danielle Rodriguez turned the ball over, and the Utes sent Hempen to the line with 3.5 seconds left.
Deja Mann had 18 points and Hempen added 14 for the Sun Devils (16-3, 5-2 Pac-12).
Michelle Plouffe led Utah (8-10, 1-6) with 22 points.
