The Cole County Public Works Department is closing Vaughn Ford Road at the Moreau River so a contractor can do core drilling in preparation for a new low-water crossing.
The work will be done over a two-day period; the road will be closed from 8 a.m. to about 5 p.m. today, and from 7 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
