Calvary boys post victory

Against Bunceton

The Calvary Lutheran Lions got a balanced scoring effort in a 78-28 victory against Bunceton on Tuesday night.

While Trevor Dusheke paced the Lions with 16 points and Cole Duenckel added 14, there were five Calvary players who scored nine points apiece.

Calvary held just a 15-14 edge after one quarter before running away with the game. The Lions extended the advantage to 36-21 at halftime before taking a 64-26 edge into the final period.

Tyler Tucker scored 18 points to lead Bunceton, tallying his 1,000th career point in the process.

Calvary (5-6) travels Saturday to Climax Springs.
