PLEASANT HILL, Mo. (AP) - Authorities have identified a woman who died after she was struck by a train in Cass County.
Cass County authorities say 42-year-old Mindi L. Smith of Lee's Summit died in the accident.
The Kansas City Star reports (http://bit.ly/1aavv0n ) investigators haven't determined why Smith was on the railroad tracks. Her body was found early Thursday.
Authorities say they don't suspect foul play.
