KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays didn't cave.
After going scoreless in the opening quarter, Jefferson City fought back for a 33-28 victory against Notre Dame de Sion on Friday night.
The Lady Jays trailed 7-0 after one period, 9-6 at halftime and 21-20 after three quarters before rallying for the win.
Megan Foster paced the Lady Jays with 12 points while Kezia Martin added 11.
Jefferson City (5-7) plays Monday in the California Tournament.
Jefferson City won the JV game 50-26.
