FULTON - Westminster senior and California High School graduate Leigh Ann Lutz was named Thursday to the Capital One Academic All-America Third Team.
Just 15 student-athletes were selected for each gender at the NCAA Division III level.
"To not only be nominated, but named to the Academic-All America team is a huge honor," Lutz said in a news release. "This achievement, though, is a reflection of Westminster College. My coaches are proud of what I do in the classroom, and my professors are proud of what I do on the court."
Lutz, who will graduate in May, is an exercise science and biology major and has maintained a 4.0 cumulative grade point average throughout her collegiate career.
