Callaway County Sheriff's Office arrests four for Holts Summit thefts, burglaries

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office has arrested four people in connection with a string of thefts and burglaries in the Holts Summit area.
Jeffrey McPeak, 25, Leslie Dodson, 38, and Famous Bittick, 21, of Holts Summit and Ryder Williams, 21, of Jefferson City were arrested after the sheriff's office investigated residence thefts and burglaries between January 24 and 28, according to a Callaway County Sheriff's Office press release.
McPeak and Dodson were the first to be arrested on Feb. 6 following interviews. Dodson is facing a felony stealing charge.
McPeak was charged with felony stealing, burglary, tampering in the first degree with a motor vehicle and failure to register as a sex offender from a prior investigation by the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.
He pleaded guilty in 2007 to a statuatory rape charge with a person under 14 years old. He was 18 at the time and was sentenced to five years. In 2006, McPeak faced a 90-day incarceration sentencing for second degree property damage, according to Missouri's online record system — Case.net or courts.mo.gov.
Williams was also questioned by police and arrested for felony stealing on Feb. 11. Williams was sentenced to seven years in prison for a 2011 felony offense of receiving stolen property, according to Missouri Case.net.
Bittick was arrested yesterday. According to the press release, Bittick alledgely resisted arrest and subsequently was charged with felony resisting arrest and felony stealing.
McPeak, Dodson and Bittick are currently in Callaway County Jail. McPeak is being held on $20,000 bond. Bittick's bond is set at $9,000 and Dodson has no bond set.
