Gym-Zzouri results

Gym-Zzouri Gymnastics recently competed in two meets as the he girls’ team traveled to Blue Springs, while the boys’ team competed in Jefferson City.

The 31st Annual Gage Dragon invitational, held at Blue Springs, featured teams from Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.

The Gym-Zzouri girls received the following awards:

• Xcel Diamond — Maisy Borden: first all-around (34.45), first vault, bars, beam and floor.

• Xcel Platinum — Rachel Holt: first all-around (34.65), first beam, second vault, second bars, third floor.

• Xcel Gold — Tessa Uhlman: first all-around (33.55), first floor, second vault, second bars, second beam; Betsy Morello: second all-around (32.625), first bars, second floor, third vault, third beam; Nikki Pierce: third all-around (32.30), first vault, first beam, third bars, third floorl.

The Capitol City Classic, hosted by Jefferson City Gymnastics, featured teams from Missouri and Kansas.

The Gym-Zzouri boys received the following awards:

• Level 4 — Sean Lewis: second all-around (36.00); Sean Vegiard: sixth all-around (48.10).
