WASHINGTON, Mo. - The Troy Lady Trojans outscored the Helias Lady Crusaders 19-9 in the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon to take a 52-45 decision in the fifth-place game of the St. Francis Borgia Tournament.
After the game was tied at 23 at the half, Helias took a 36-33 lead into the final period.
Mai Nienhueser led Helias with 12 points. Molly Sandbothe, in her first week back after returning from an injury, was named to the all-tournament team for the Lady Crusaders.
Troy finished 25-of-32 from the free-throw line.
Helias (12-8) is back in action Thursday at home against Hickman.
