Henry Josey, a former Missouri Tiger, was signed to the active roster Wednesday by the Minnesota Vikings.
Josey had spent the season on the practice squad of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The running back was at the training camp of the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent before being released in the final roster cuts. He was second in the NFL preseason with 225 rushing yards.
Josey rushed for 1,166 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2013 at Missouri after missing the 2012 season with a knee injury.
