"Outside Lines' exhibit slated at library

The Missouri River Regional Library is exhibiting the recent work by artist John Michael Holman at the Library Art Gallery in Jefferson City until Jan. 31.

The exhibit is titled "Color Outside the Lines." It consists of 23 landscapes and portraits. The official opening for the event is from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 8.

Holman attended Union Culinary Academy in San Francisco, served in the U.S. Navy, and eventually studied art at Columbia College in Columbia under Sidney Larson and Tom Watson.
