Dear Editor:
How much more absurd and negative can our members of Congress become?
In Dec. 7 "Local" section, the caption under a photo of the First Lady and a student, reads "House Republicans are making a final push this year to give schools a temporary break from healthier school meal standards."
Sure, let's go back to salt, fat and sugar for our obese students, just because they can't stand our current president and his wife or anything they are trying to do for Americans.
Let's throw out health care for everyone, plus healthy lunches in our schools.
Can this Congress do anything positive, or will they continue throughout the lame duck session to try and undo, rather than do?
Can't they come up with anything that creates, rather than tears down? And they wonder why their approval rate is so low.
