TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Freshman Stanley Johnson's 14 points led a balanced attack for No. 3 Arizona in the Wildcats' 87-56 win over Utah Valley on Tuesday night.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scored 12 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, Dusan Ristic scored 13 points and Gabe York added 11 for the Wildcats (9-0). Ristic and Johnson each had seven rebounds.
Utah Valley went seven minutes of the second half without a point, trailing 62-30 at the 12-minute mark. Arizona continued to pull away, leading by 34 points at one point.
The win gave Arizona 36 straight regular-season non-conference victories, the longest streak in the nation.
The Wildcats used a 12-0 run over 3 1/2 minutes of the first half to take a commanding lead, going from a 16-14 deficit at the 13:04 mark to a 26-16 lead a short time later on Parker Jackson-Cartwright's steal and layup.
NO. 4 LOUISVILLE 94, INDIANA 74
NEW YORK (AP) - Terry Rozier scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed six rebounds as No. 4 Louisville beat Indiana 94-74 on Tuesday night in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.
The Cardinals (8-0) also got outstanding performances from Montrezl Harrell, who had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Chris Jones, who scored a career-high 24 points, and had nine rebounds and six assists.
James Blackmon Jr. led Indiana (7-2) with 18 points and Yogi Ferrell finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Louisville overpowered Indiana down low, outrebounding Indiana 52-34. The Cardinals' defense also put the clamps on the Hoosiers, forcing them to commit 19 turnovers. But Indiana wouldn't go away quietly.
Indiana opened the second half with an 11-2 run to take a 52-48 lead, matching their largest lead in the game.
Louisville's Jones then scored seven points in a 10-0 run to give the Cardinals a 58-52 lead, which they never relinquished.
NO. 7 VILLANOVA 73, ILLINOIS 59
NEW YORK (AP) - Dylan Ennis scored 18 points to lead No. 7 Villanova past Illinois.
Darrun Hilliard and Daniel Ochefu both scored 12 points.
Malcolm Hill scored a career-high 20 points for Illinois.
Rayvonte Rice, the leading scorer for the Illini, struggled from the field, shooting 4 of 13 and scoring just 10 points.
Villanova went on a 15-4 run after Ochefu's layup at the 6:21 of the second half and then slowly pulled away.
Villanova broke the game open with a 13-2 run that began after the first official timeout 15:13 of the first half, then Wildcats went up 21-11.
Illinois fought back and went on an 11-4 run to cut the deficit to 25-22.
Villanova eventually took a 33-27 lead into the locker room at the half.
No. 11 WICHITA STATE 77, SETON HALL 68
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Ron Baker scored 22 points, Fred VanVleet added 18 points and eight assists and No. 11 Wichita State handed Seton Hall its first loss of the season.
Darius Carter had 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Shockers (6-1), who used a big first-half run to seize control, and then breezed through a foul-filled second half.
Isaiah Whitehead scored 23 points and Sterling Gibbs had 19 for the Pirates (7-1), who beat another Missouri Valley team in Illinois State earlier this season, but had yet to play anybody as deep, talented and filled with seasoned veterans as the Shockers.
Wichita State has won 22 consecutive home games dating to the 2012-13 season.
NO. 14 IOWA STATE 73, MISSOURI-KANSAS CITY 56
AMES, Iowa (AP) - Bryce Dejean-Jones scored 22 points and No. 14 Iowa State beat Missouri-Kansas City for its third straight win.
Dejean-Jones topped 20 points for the third time for the Cyclones (6-1), who've won 25 straight non-conference games at home.
The Cyclones opened on a 24-9 run, powered by 11 early points from Dejean-Jones. They led by as many as 21 points in the first half.
Monte Morris scored 13 points with five assists for Iowa State, which let UMKC (3-7) get within 11 midway through the second half before pulling away.
Frank Williams had 14 points for UMKC (3-7). The Kangaroos have lost three straight.
NO. 25 NOTRE DAME 93, MOUNT ST. MARY'S 67
SOUTH BEND (AP) - Steve Vasturia scored a career-high 19 points and Zach Auguste had 19 points and eight rebounds Tuesday to lead No. 25 Notre Dame to a win over Mount St. Mary's.
Vasturia was perfect on the night, hitting 7-of-7 from the floor, including three 3-pointers, and both his free throws. Jerian Grant, Notre Dame's leading scorer, hit his average of 19 points.
Back in the Top 25 for the first time in over the year, the Irish (9-1) used a 30-4 first half run to turn a four-point contest into a blowout before halftime.
Chris Martin hit 5-of-9 3-pointers and finished with 19 points for the Mountaineers (2-5).
