TIPTON, Mo. - The Macks Creek Pirates claimed the Tipton Tournament title Saturday night with a 49-38 win against the Tipton Cardinals.
Macks Creek led 12-7 after one quarter and 20-16 at the half. The Pirates took a 30-26 advantage into the final period.
Cody Eidson finished with 18 points for the winners, while Matt Hicks added 14.
Dylan Cooper totaled 17 points to pace Tipton. Bryce Sanders added 10 points while grabbing 10 rebounds.
Tipton will play Tuesday night at Belle.
