Falcons' Moore fined for hit

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. - Atlanta Falcons safety William Moore said he has been fined $22,050 by the NFL for a crown-of-helmet hit on Arizona wide receiver Jaron Brown last week.

The fine was Moore's first of 2014. The former Missouri Tiger drew almost $75,000 in fines from the league last season. There was no penalty on the fourth-quarter play.

Moore started in Atlanta's 29-18 win against the Cardinals after missing seven games with a right shoulder injury.
