College Volleyball: MU's streak snapped

DENTON, Texas - Missouri's 35 consecutive game regular-season winning streak came to an end and the Tigers suffered their first non-conference regular season loss since 2012 on Saturday.

No. 15 Missouri lost Northwestern State in three sets on Saturday afternoon at the North Texas Volleyball Complex in match four of the North Texas Invitational.

The Tigers lost 25-19, 25-19, 25-22 to fall to 1-1 on the season.

"This was a tough one for us (Saturday)," head coach Wayne Kreklow said. "We have to give credit to Northwestern State. They came out and played really well and we weren't ready to go."
