WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays opened the golf season Friday by taking second in the Warrensburg Invitational.
Jefferson City finished with a team score of 375. Warrensburg was first in the eight-team event with a 331. Rock Bridge was third at 387.
Brooke Thompson paced Jefferson City with a 79. Blair Michael and Claire Shipley both carded 98s, while Ellie Severance had a 100.
Jefferson City is slated to return to action Monday at California.
