Several accidents, injuries occurred Friday

A Sunrise Beach woman sustained moderate injuries after overturning her vehicle into a ditch on Friday evening.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports Jeri Wood, 46, was transported by ambulance to the Lake Regional Hospital after her vehicle was extensively damaged in the accident. The accident occurred at 9:20 p.m. approximately one mile west of Route AA.

• Two girls from Tebbetts were injured after their vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver on Friday evening.

Reports show that Natalie Rice, 14, sustained moderate injuries from the ejection and was transported by ambulance University Hospital in Columbia. Her passenger, Delanney Smart, 6, had minor injuries and was taken to Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City. Neither were wearing their seat belts.

The accident happened at 6:27 p.m. on County Road 485.

• A Versailles woman is being treated for moderate injuries at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City after a head on collision.

Katie Pryor, 31, was traveling with Mason Pryor, infant, and Gage Pryor, 3, when they where struck by another vehicle. The children were taken to the same hospital as Katie. All three were wearing safety devices.

The driver of the other vehicle, Cris Schwermer, 57, had failed to yield on a left turn off of state highway 5 onto Route W, according to reports. He received minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene. He was not wearing his seatbelt. The collision occurred at 5:40 p.m.

• A man form Saranac, Michigan, sustained minor injuries after colliding with a canine and traveling off of the road on U.S. Route 50.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports Roger Bibbler, 58, was transported to Capital Region Hospital by ambulance. The accident happened at 3:30 p.m., and he was wearing a seat belt. Reports do not indicate the condition of the dog.

• A Columbia man suffered minor injuries after laying his motorcycle on its side on Missouri Route 124.

Gregory Will, 25, was transported by ambulance to the University Hospital after his motorcycle sustained extensive damage when it collided with a parked Freightliner, according to reports. The accident occurred at 3:15 p.m.

The owner of the second vehicle was not listed in the report, and vehicle sustained minor damage.
