MU invests $2.5 million in SEC Network project

The University of Missouri has spent some money to make some money.

Missouri's total investment to get its SEC Network project started is around $2.5 million and is headquartered under the student section at Mizzou Arena.

The Southeastern Conference is asking each of its 14 schools to be ready to produce at least 40 sporting events each season.

The network will launch Thursday. It will start by featuring each of the schools for one day. Missouri will be highlighted Aug. 25.
