Truman State senior Matthew Schaefer (Helias High School) earned a first-place finish at the Illinois College True Blue Meet on Saturday.
Schaefer took top honors in the 800-meter run, clocking in at 1:55.47 to help lead the Bulldogs to a first-place finish at the meet.
