LINN - Alec Shoop hit a grand slam and Ryan Mantle connected with two home runs as the Linn Wildcats claimed a 15-5 win against Dixon on Monday.
Shoop, who earned the win for Linn on the mound, had two hits and drove in four runs, while Mantle added four RBI to help lead the Wildcats.
Cameron Laughlin tallied four hits and drove in two runs, while Blake Snyder added two hits and two RBI. Daulton Niederhelm also had a hit and drove in two runs.
The Wildcats will host the Linn Invitational Tournament, which starts Friday.
