ROLLA - The Helias Crusaders swept a freshman doubleheader Wednesday from the Rolla Bulldogs.
Helias won the opener 14-2 as Tyler Cassmeyer picked up the victory on the mound. He allowed one earned run and struck out five in three innings. Jake Burnett had two hits and three RBI.
The Crusaders were 11-2 winners in the nightcap. Drew Boessen did not allow an earned run and struck out two in three innings. Dylan Gaines had three hits and three RBI for Helias (6-3).
