MOBERLY, Mo. - The Helias Crusaders pounded out 18 hits Tuesday in a 12-2 victory in five innings against the Moberly Spartans.
Austin Sachse and Todd Buschjost had four hits each to pace Helias, which scored in four of the five innings, Alex Barton added three hits, while Brock Gerstner, Garrett Buschjost and and Kale Gerstner added two hits each.
Brock Gerstner scored four times, while Sachse had three runs. John Rhea and Buschjost crossed the plate two times each.
Todd Buschjost drove in five runs, while Sachse had two RBI.
Wyatt Porter pitched the first four innings to get the win, He allowed five hits and three walks while striking out three. Clayton Winter struck out the side in the bottom of the fifth.
Helias (8-5) is back in action Monday at home against Rock Bridge. Game time is 5 p.m.
