COLUMBIA - Kelli Schkade earned Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week honors, the league announced Monday, after a standout week at the plate for the 16th-ranked Missouri softball team.
Schkade had a clutch at-bat for Missouri in the sweep-clinching 7-6 win at No. 20 Auburn on Sunday. Schkade launched a solo home run to left center with two outs in the top of the seventh to give the Tigers a 7-5 cushion.
