Lady Jays win two field events

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays captured individual titles in a pair of field events Thursday at Girls Night Out hosted by Glendale High School.

Alexis Roberson took first place in the discus with a toss of 121 feet, 8 inches to lead three Lady Jays throwers who finished in the top five. Mallory York was second, while Andrea Hughes finished fifth.

Kezia Martin was first in the long jump with a leap of 18-11/4 for the Lady Jays.
