WESTPHALIA - Sam Hager and Logan Vogel hit home runs as Fatima defeated Battle 11-5 on Tuesday.
Hager hit a two-run shot, while Vogel hit a solo homer to lead off the bottom of the first.
Jared Schulte and Will Robertson both had two hits and two RBI for the Comets, while Reid Kesel went 3-for-5 and John Fick had two hits and drove in a run.
Alex Dickneite picked up the win, tossing five innings while allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits, six walks and seven strikeouts.
Fatima (6-1) plays Hickman at noon Friday in the Capital City Invitational.
