Lincoln baseball swept by Missouri Western

ST. JOSEPH - Missouri Western's offense was too much for Lincoln.

The Blue Tigers dropped a pair of games Sunday afternoon, falling 11-1 and 19-0.

Gatlin Wiggins provided the only offensive spark for Lincoln in the first game, recording a pair of hits and an RBI. Missouri Western scored the first 11 runs of the game.

Joe Jungmeyer took the loss for Lincoln, tossing four innings while allowing 10 runs (all earned) on 10 hits.

Missouri Western blasted six home runs in the nightcap - two each from Jake Schrader and Ryan Degner - to roll to the victory.

Lincoln collected just four hits.

John Bisges took the loss, allowing 12 runs (10 earned) one 12 hits in 41/3 innings.

Lincoln (1-27, 0-24 MIAA) is slated to travel Tuesday to Truman State.
