The MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, PETCO, Purina PRO PLAN and 360 Wellness are holding a Rally to Rescue Adoptapoolza from noon-4 p.m. Oct 19 at Memorial Park.
This event will feature animals from rescues available for adoption. There will be contests, giveaways, pet health and nutrition expert presentations and more.
Everyone is invited to bring pets that are up to date on shots and on a leash.
The public can bring no longer needed but still usable pet items including food, bleach, vinegar, litter, treats, toys, crates and any other gently used pet items for a Trash to Treasure Drive. Items can be dropped of at the Jefferson City PETCO anytime in advance of the Adoptapolooza. All rescues and shelters attending the event will share the donations.
Free snacks and drinks will be available while they last. Proceeds benefit MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue.
