JOPLIN - Twishana Williams paced the Lincoln cross country team with a fifth-place finish at Saturday's Southern Stampede, hosted by Missouri Southern.
Williams finished in 17:59.85 to help the Blue Tigers to a 12th-place finish as a team. Other Blue Tiger finishers were Monique Thompson (72nd, 20:01.75), Cynthia Halbert (93rd, 20:31.12), Akeeba Rose (108th, 20:48.62), Ebony Rose (131st, 21:47.67), Willomena Williams (137th, 22:09.05), and Lovan Palmer (138th, 22:16.47).
