Real estate firm buys Knoxville development

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The St. Louis-based commercial real estate firm Sansone Group has purchased the Northshore Town Center development in Knoxville, Tenn.

The deal was announced Friday, though the $17.7 million purchase was completed last month.

Northshore Town Center was built in 2012 and includes more than nine acres of retail space. It is anchored by a Publix grocery store.

Sansone Group principal Nick Sansone says the firm is focusing efforts on acquiring centers anchored by grocery stores or other strong anchors.
