BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays JV team defeated Blue Springs 19-14 on Thursday night.
Jefferson City opened the scoring with a 43-yard touchdown pass from J.T. Bohlken to Jacob Gourley. Bohlken kicked the PAT.
Denzel Wilson added rushing touchdowns of 34 and 22 yards, respectively, as the Jays improved to 4-0 on the season.
James Savage recovered a fumbled and Rashaun Woods intercepted a pass.
