RICHLAND, Mo. - Vienna had little trouble advancing to the semifinals of the Class 2 District 8 Tournament with a 15-0 win against Conway on Wednesday night.
Maddie Stricklan and Haley Ragan combined to pitch a no-hitter for Vienna.
Ragan was a star on offense as she finished with four hits and four RBI. Paige Helton finished with three stolen bases to set a new school record with 41 for the season. Cheyenne Wood added a double and a triple.
Vienna (12-8) takes on Dixon at 5:30 p.m. today. Dixon defeated Laquey 13-0 on Wednesday.
