Dear Editor:
Just a few observations about the health care controversy.
The United States Senate, supposedly the most deliberative body in the world, is devoid of any debate. In fact the senators didn't even show up Sunday to consider the House proposal.
Secondly, Claire McCaskill wants to have one plan for all the congressmen and senators but a different one for us in the sticks.
I would like to see left-of-center Claire McCaskill, and right-of-center Roy Blunt have a debate about the issues in the state.
We aren't getting anything out of Washington. I am frankly tired of having somebody ask me where I come from. I say "Missouri." That is the Show-Me-State they say.
It is time we changed that to Show-'Em-State.
